Racetrack Road Park 29 acres

Located on the city’s far east side on Racetrack Road, this is the city’s newest park. This park, once top farmland for growing corn, was willed to the city in 1987, including all buildings.  Plans for this community park include 4 lighted softball diamonds, soccer fields, open play areas, basketball court, volleyball court, tennis court, parking, picnic shelter, restrooms, tot lot, ice skating rinks, and hockey rinks.

With the size, location, nice flat terrain necessary for athletic fields, great potential, and development planned over a number of years, this site could become a truly outstanding community park for Stoughton.  This park currently has two lighted softball diamonds, parking lots, a barn, a garage, fencing, and a paved walkway and paved parking lots.
