Mandt Park 29.4 acres

This park is located in the southern part of the city on South Fourth Street. Although Mandt Park is listed as 29.4 acres, 8 acres are devoted to Junior Fair use while another 15 acres are back waters of the Yahara River. This leaves approximately 8 - 10 acres devoted to active recreation use. Mandt Park will be considered a Neighborhood Park if the Fair buildings are removed. This park is the most popular and most used park in the city.

Present facilities include one softball diamond with lights, lighted basketball hard surface play area, play equipment, parking, open picnic shelter, toilets, picnic area, swimming pool and a new bathhouse, horseshoe pits, a skateboard ramp and the Mandt Community Center (ice arena) which opened in May 1994.
